Elated Soul Photography works with families and high school seniors on location in the Colorado Springs area to capture portraits full of authentic moments and personality.
We take the moments you cherish most and create custom designed wall-art and heirloom albums.

How it Works
Working with you from beginning to end, we're starting with the end in mind. Where will your portrait live? Let's figure this out!
A Design Meeting will take place a few weeks prior to your session. In this meeting we will work out all the details. You will leave with a wardrobe plan, knowing where your portraits will live in your home, and a clear idea of what your investment will be.
Portrait Sessions take place 3-4 weeks after the design meeting and last between 45-90 minutes.
The Viewing & Ordering Appointment will take place approximately 1 week after your session and will last 45-90 minutes. We will review your images together, you will be able to see your framed portraits directly on your walls when making your selections.
In 4-6 weeks you'll be able to show off your beautiful art. In no time, your children will be walking by that portrait that helps them to define who they are in this world, the one that reminds them how loved they are.
Behind The Lens
Elated Soul Photography was founded by Joy Skinner, a Colorado Springs Portrait Photographer. She has called Colorado home for more than 20 years. It's here that she raises her two children with her husband. As a mother, Joy understands just how fleeting the precious moments of today are.
Being orphaned at only 12 years old has driven her passion for creating beautiful heirlooms for families. She wants every family to have cherished photographs to look back on that tell the story of who they are, because one day it'll be all that remains.
